South East 4x4 Response (SE4x4R) provide 4x4 vehicle support in times of need to the emergency services, local authorities and charitable groups across Kent and Medway.
Although not an Emergency or Rescue Service, our speciality is logistics in extreme conditions and we aim to provide a reliable 24hour/365-day support service when other arrangements are at full capacity or cannot proceed due to inclement weather conditions or extreme terrain.
South East 4x4 Response are a team made up of highly trained unpaid volunteer specialists who give up their time, apply their skills and offer the use of their vehicles and their experience to serve the local community.
At the 2019 Annual Briefing held at the Kent Police training college South East 4x4 Response Chairman Steve Short gave out certificates to members who had served 5 years volunteering and giving up their time to South East 4x4 Response. Well done to the members, some of which will be due their 10 year certificates in 2020!
SE4x4R were pleased to support KM Charity after seeing a last minute appeal on social media for help as they urgently needed more volunteers to marshal the route. We provided two volunteers and a vehicle for the event as we had other commitments that weekend - https://www.kentonline.co.uk/news/charities/charity-ride-goes-down-a-sto...
